73-Acre Chester County Property Snatched Up By Fort Washington Homebuilder
Fort Washington-based Foxlane Homes has bought a 73-acre undeveloped property in Chester County, where it plans to build dozens of single-family homes, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The homebuilder recently purchased four parcels in Glenmore for 6.8 million from Wallace Tract I Partners. That nearly tripled the $2.3 million paid when it last changed owners fifteen months ago.
In that period, development on the property received the green light, and the housing market in Chester County became increasingly lucrative.
Foxlane plans to construct 36 homes there. The houses will have four to six bedrooms, three and a half to six bathrooms, and three-car garages.
According to floorplans on Foxlane’s website, homes will range from 3,100 to 4,400 square feet.
The development will be called the Estates at Stonecliff.
“When you look at builders in the market who develop in that size range, there’s a handful of them,” said Adam Loew of J. Loew and Associates, who represented the seller in the deal. “Certainly Foxlane is at the top of the stack when you talk about quality homes and delivering a quality community to the area.”
