Five Montgomery County Companies Ranked Among America’s Best Employers for Women by Forbes

Francois Mandeville and Pawan Verma have joined Conshohocken-based Cencora as the newest members of the company’s leadership team.

Forbes ranks seventeen companies in the Philadelphia area on their list of best companies to employ women with five of them in Montgomery County, writes Lisa Dukart for Philadelphia Business Journal.

On Tuesday, Forbes published results after surveying over 150,000 women who work at companies of at least 1,000 employees. 

The survey collected information such as how likely participants were to recommend their current or former employers. Other factors included parental leave, work environment, pay equity, and how employers handled sexual misconduct and discrimination.

The survey also took into account the amount of women in higher positions within the company.

Forbes adds four more Philly companies to the list of best employers for women from last year, however many of these companies have fallen lower on the ranking.
