Fort Washington homebuilder Toll Brothers recently purchased a 21-acre site in Spring City near Phoenixville where it plans to construct 33 single-family homes, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The homebuilder bought the land at 25 Seven Stars Road for $2.64 million.

The land, which was owned by the Soltys family since at least 1947, is just southeast of a housing development off Stony Run Road.

Toll Brothers is expecting to start working on the homes soon, with home sales opening sometime in 2024.

This is the continuation of the company’s purchases in the region in recent months. Toll Brothers acquired 159 acres in Malvern over the summer for $33 million.

It plans to build 280 luxury townhomes at the site. The company also bought 21 acres in Quakertown this past fall for $3.9 million with plans to construct 38 single-family homes on the property.

The average home built by Toll Brothers sold for $989,000 in a three-month period ending Oct. 31. That nearly doubles the median home sales price in Chester County of $495,000 in October.
