Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) is seeking applications for a Part-time Data and Operations Coordinator and a Part-Time Student Services Assistant (Pottstown).
Part-time Data and Operations Coordinator
The Part-time Data and Operations Coordinator assists the Registrar and Associate Registrar with projects related to the Student Information System and Degree Audit. This position requires a student- and faculty-oriented, self-starting, critical thinker with keen attention to detail. The coordinator will implement and manage curriculum updates, regularly test Ellucian Colleague updates related to Records and Registration, and maintain external course equivalencies databases. The Data and Operations Coordinator will also provide administrative support to upkeep students’ academic records.
Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
This position has been approved for a flexible work option arrangement. Flexible work options can be ended at any time by the College, Cabinet, and/or supervisors based on employee performance and/or as institutional needs change.
Essential Education/Training/Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Student Information System experience required; Ellucian (Colleague) experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience working at a college or university in an academic affair, advising or registration department preferred.
Essential Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Passionate in presence about the importance of community college leadership.
- Possess strong personal qualities of honesty, integrity, enthusiasm, initiative, flexibility, and creativity.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships.

Part-Time Student Services Assistant, Pottstown
The Part-time Student Services Assistant will provide support to both new and returning students at the College as part of the College’s mission of access, retention, and completion, with responsibility for ensuring a high level of customer service through support of the Student Services Resource Center, duties at the Student Services Welcome Desk, support of the Enrollment Services Assistants and providing support in the Testing Center. This includes in-person and back-office duties. Service touchpoints will include the use of the following methods: in-person; phone; email; text; online; chat Starfish; Zoom, and other Self-Service systems to support student success.
Hours for this position are Monday-Thursday, 2:00-7:00 PM, and Saturdays 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, as needed.
This position is 25 hours per week. During peak times, the employee may work up to 29 hours. Additionally, the position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations. The primary office location will be the Pottstown campus.

Essential Education/Training/Work Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required with three years work-related experience required OR
- Associate’s degree may be preferred with one to two years work-related experience.
- Proficiency in computer skills required.
- Excellent communication, both written and oral required.

- Specialized training in specific software or software processes may be required.
- Customer service skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
