Harcum College, a private associate degree-granting institution on the Main Line, is responding to the recent closures of the University of the Arts (UArts) and the Delaware College of Art and Design (DCAD) by offering support to their displaced students as they continue their academic journeys.

To assist these students, Harcum College has established a special scholarship, offering up to $5,000 in financial support per year to help them complete their degrees. Additionally, Harcum will accept up to 30 transfer credits from UArts and DCAD courses, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing disruptions to their academic progress.

Harcum College recognizes the challenges former UArts and DCAD students face and is dedicated to providing a supportive environment where they can thrive and continue developing their creative skills. Harcum offers a Graphic Design program, which is the same major offered at UArts and DCAD. This program, while offering an associate degree, provides a robust curriculum designed to equip graduates with the necessary skills and industry knowledge for successful careers in the creative field.

Furthermore, Harcum has established articulation agreements with many four-year colleges and universities, providing students with seamless pathways to pursue bachelor’s degrees after completing their associate studies at Harcum.

Students can apply for Fall 2024 online for free at Harcum College.

Current and newly accepted UArts and DCAD students seeking to transfer are encouraged to apply. Students should submit their official transcripts along with their application. For any questions or inquiries, please contact Harcum College’s admissions team at 610-526-6050 or enroll@harcum.edu.
