The eatery and retail store makes and sells thousands of delicious sandwiches that consistently keep people coming back for more. But sandwiches are far from the only thing offered. You can also enjoy water ice, Detroit-style pizza, ice cream, and much more.

“All we can do is tell you this is the Collegeville Bakery, and this is what we do,” said owner Steve Cacarey. “And I think once you come, you experience what we do and then realize we’re more than a bakery.”

The story of the bakery links back to Italy, where Patrizia Cacarey’s parents Giovanni and Caterina lived before they moved to America in 1970. Nearly a quarter-century later, they opened their own Italian bakery and deli, and Patrizia has been working there ever since.

In addition to the bakery, Giovanni loves to enjoy his garden, where he can get home-grown tomatoes and harvest honey from beehives. The garden is a true testament to the bakery’s passion for serving truly fresh food to the community.
