Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board’s Travel Rally To feature a Firetruck, PGA Golfzilla, and Exciting Announcements

Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board will celebrate Montgomery County as a premiere tourism destination at the 8th Annual Travel Rally.

Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board will celebrate Montgomery County as a premiere tourism destination at the 8th Annual Travel Rally on May 6 at Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club (511 Dreshertown Road, Fort Washington).

Doors open at 11:00 AM with live music and entertainment, remarks begin at noon, and at 1:00 PM, the Montco Golf Classic begins.

Themed “Let’s Go Montco,” guests and media who attend this special event will enjoy plenty of one-of-a-kind moments, great for video and photos, including:

  • Montgomery County Commissioners
  • VFTCB Staff
  • Fort Washington Fire Company firetruck (dependent on Fire Company schedule)
  • 20-foot inflatable PGA Golfzilla
  • Event themed ice sculpture
  • Roaming photobooth
  • Musicians welcoming guests
  • Monty, Valley Forge Tourism’s costumed mascot

The event will highlight the fact that tourism is a huge, key positive economic driver in Montgomery County, contributing more than $1.7 billion in economic development and more than 25,000 jobs. Special announcements will be made about upcoming programming and new events coming to the region.

Immediately following the Travel Rally, the 2024 Montco Golf Classic will kick off.
