The U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally, one of the most prestigious tournaments in women’s golf, will make its return to the Lancaster Country Club (LCC) May 30 to June 2.  

Now in its 79th iteration, the U.S. Women’s Open is renowned for its inclusivity and competitive spirit, drawing top players from around the globe.  

Managed by the United States Golf Association (USGA), this tournament has been a milestone in the careers of many golfers.  

The 2024 championship will be the second held at the Lancaster Country Club, following the record-setting event in 2015, which saw remarkable attendance and broad broadcast reach.

The 2015 event at LCC set records for both entries (since broken) and attendance, and the 2024 championship is expected to match these achievements, showcasing the growth and enthusiasm for women’s golf. 

The Lancaster community has shown immense support for the championship, with volunteer recruitment filling up in just a week. Over 2,000 volunteers will contribute to the success of the event.  

The leadership at Lancaster Country Club has been instrumental in facilitating logistics and coordinating with the city, ensuring a seamless experience for players and fans alike.

With a $12 million championship purse and extensive broadcast coverage on NBC, the event will provide a significant platform for women golfers.
