Immaculata Symphony Will Partner with the Moxart Organization for a Selection of Concertos on May 4
On Saturday, May 4, the Immaculata Symphony will partner with the Moxart organization to perform a selection of concertos at 7:30 PM in Immaculata University’s Alumnae Hall. The Immaculata Symphony is a university-community organization with a long and outstanding tradition that goes back to the University’s founding in 1920.
Moxart provides musicians with unique opportunities, such as this opportunity for advanced amateur and pre-professional musicians to perform a concerto with a full symphony orchestra. These exceptional musicians will perform piano concertos by Haydn and Mozart, Bach’s “Concerto No. 3 in D major,” and the first movement of Schumann’s “Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 54.” Soloists and selections are subject to change.
General admission to the concert is $10. Tickets are available at the door and online. Ticket sales from this concert benefit the Eugene Buglio Memorial Scholarship Fund.
