The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB), the Destination Marketing Organization for Montgomery County, has launched the Arts Montco Pass. This gamified program aims to highlight Montco’s rich arts and culture locations.

The free mobile-friendly Arts Montco Pass, created in partnership with Bandwango, leads users on a self-guided journey to more than 30 arts locations throughout Montgomery County, including galleries and museums, music and theater venues, artist workshops, and more.

“We’re so excited to launch the brand-new Arts Montco Pass as a way to promote our dozens of arts and culture venues year-round,” said Rachel Riley, AVP of Communications & Visitor Experience. “Our goal is to increase foot traffic to these sites, broaden visitors’ experience of Montgomery County, and raise awareness that Montco is truly an arts destination.”

To activate and redeem, users visit a dedicated mobile passport landing page to sign up for their Pass. Once registered, a link is then sent to their mobile phone, which opens the passport and directs them to the 32 participating locations where users can virtually check in via GPS to start redeeming prizes including candles, stickers, eco-friendly tote bags, and more.

The campaign marketing strategy will target the Philadelphia DMA via digital and social media advertising and the VFTCB’s PR efforts including a media and influencer FAM. Campaign advertising is expected to drive users to the campaign landing page which outlines Montgomery County theaters, museums and galleries, visual arts, concert venues, and more.

Additionally, the VFTCB has announced the return of Montco Jazz Fest, Sept. 19-22. This year’s theme, “Legacy,” celebrates the living legacy of jazz by enjoying artist collaborations and tribute concerts to some of the great legends in the genre.

With the help of consultant, Joanna Pascale, the VFTCB is building on last year’s theme of “Women in Jazz” by continuing to empower female voices and will also include educational and fundraising components for youth jazz programs in the community.
