One Montco Spot Among 13 Beautiful Places to Enjoy and Pick Flowers in Pennsylvania
Spring is upon us, and with it came countless colorful patches of flowers all around Pennsylvania that are a balm for our color-starved eyes, writes Emily Kovach for PA Eats.
In all that beauty, some places stand out and are the perfect places to visit, shop, or pick your own flowers. One Montgomery County spot ranked among the 13 best ones.
Maple Acres Farm in Plymouth Meeting offers seven acres of cutting flowers to explore starting in mid-to-late-May each spring. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful views filled with zinnias, peonies, cosmos, gladiolas, sunflowers, and many more.
The farm announces on its Facebook page when the fields open for picking.
It also sells bounteous produce, ice cream, and cut flowers at the farm’s market, which is available daily throughout the season.
