Henry Mann has teamed up with another Henry Mann in England to give a second life to classic cars with an electric conversion.

Montgomery County business owner Henry Mann is giving classic Ford Mustangs a second life by converting them to electric vehicles, writes Tamala Edwards for 6abc.

The car enthusiast and collector has teamed up with another Henry Mann, owner of Alan Mann Racing in the United Kingdom, to form Mann ePower Cars.

“He has a race shop in England, so number one, he knows the Mustang inside out. He has the family history of making a very reliable car,” Mann said.

The two car enthusiasts met at an American auto show.

The first car converted by Mann ePower Cars was a 1965 Ford Mustang, now 100 percent electric.

“We have all of the features and benefits of a 2024 car in our car,” said Mann.

Refurbishing work is done at The Vette Shop in Pipersville, Bucks County.

Fabricators are now working on Mann’s second EV car, a 1965 Mustang Flashback.

It’s the latest of four businesses Mann has been behind.. His original business, Manncorp, is headquartered in Hatboro and services the electronics and aerospace industry.

Mann prefers “fast cars” and has about 60 antique and modern cars in his collection, including Corvettes and a few Mercedes.
