There is a flurry of activity happening at the former Harleysville National Bank as Neshaminy Creek Brewing plans to open its Harleysville taproom in late spring, writes Michele Haddon for Bucks County Courier Times via Yahoo.com.

This will be the third taproom for the Bucks County craft brewery. It already has one in Croydon and one in Dublin.

The newest taproom will make its home in the former Harleysville National Bank building as part of a redevelopment project called The Vault Town Center which will include places to dine and shop as well as offices.

Jenn Ball, CEO and one of the co-owners of Neshaminy Creek Brewing said that what drew them to choose Harleysville was that it was a town like Dublin looking to grow its town center.

“The model in Dublin is our sweet spot. It feels like a hometown where people have roots and need a place to gather. We had been looking for that, and it doesn’t exist everywhere,” she said.

The new taproom will include about 84 seats inside with additional outdoor seating. Ball said they are hoping to create a welcoming and relaxing space that also preserves some of the building’s original character.
