Pie and Plate Café at 43 N. Main St. in Ambler serves up a variety of decadent pies made from scratch. A must-try is the soufflé on top of a chocolate pie in a butter crust or the key lime custard in a butter graham crust.

The Frosted Fox Cake Shop at 6511 Germantown Avenue has a to-go service which will make ordering and picking up pies easier. Popular pies this spring are the summery peach crumble, strawberry rhubarb crumble, key lime with meringue, and mixed berry pies.

In the Mayfair neighborhood in Philadelphia, Haegele’s Bakery is known for its German-influenced pies. The assorted pies are made from scratch and are available 7 days a week. The bakery is located at 4164 Barnett Street.
