Montco Native Appointed Executive Director of The Pennsylvania Society

Heather Greenleaf, a Montgomery County native, replaces Julien Scranton as the new executive director of The Pennsylvania Society.

Heather Greenleaf, a Montgomery County native, is the new executive director of The Pennsylvania Society, according to City & State Pennsylvania.

She replaced Julien Scranton at the beginning of March.

Greenleaf previously was a project manager for Imagine Exhibitions before accepting her new role. She is also an author and spent time as a private chef and food writer for the Harlem Times and Patch.

The Pennsylvania Society is a nonprofit, charitable organization that provides fellowship for Pennsylvanians who have a deep affection for Pennsylvania and a commitment to civil engagement and giving back to the Commonwealth.

Pennsylvania Society President Elizabeth Preate Harvey said in a statement that Greenleaf has a “firm understanding of what it means to be a member of The Pennsylvania Society. We have no doubt she will hit the ground running as we prepare for our annual meeting this spring.”
