Gwynedd Mercy University Awarded Accreditation Candidacy for MS in Speech-Language Pathology Program

GMercyU's MS in Speech-Language Pathology program has achieved candidacy status from the CAA, and the inaugural class starts in Fall of 2024.

Gwynedd Mercy University’s (GMercyU) Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program has achieved candidacy status from the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.

This pre-accreditation, granted for up to five years, reflects the program’s commitment to excellence. The program is set to admit its inaugural class in Fall 2024.

Responding to the increasing demand for professionals in this field, GMercyU launched the SLP Program, ranked as the No. 3 job in healthcare and No. 10 overall on U.S. News & World Report’s Best 100 Jobs list for 2024.

Complementing the MS SLP Program, GMercyU also provides a one-year online Speech-Language Pathology Prerequisite (SLPP) Program, preparing students for admission to the MS SLP program and other graduate programs with similar requirements.

Aligned with the university’s mission, the Speech-Language Pathology program at GMercyU equips students for successful careers as speech-language pathologists, fostering meaningful contributions in a global society.
