Two Chester County Towns Are Among Top 100 Best Places to Live in America

These two Chester County places are among the top 100 best places to live in America, according to a recently released report by Niche.

Two Chester County towns have found their place among the top 100 best places to live in America, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal

Niche compiles the annual rankings using data from the U.S. Census, the FBI, the Department of Education, the IRS, and millions of resident reviews submitted on its page.

The metrics used to determine the rankings include affordability, local housing markets, neighborhood diversity, public schools, walkability, and other factors. 

Chesterbrook is the highest-ranking town in the Philadelphia region. The Chester County town placed third on the list. This is the first time in five years that Chesterbrook is not in first place on the list. It has a median household income of $135,849 and a median home value of $406,200. 

Devon ranked at No. 85, which is a huge drop compared to 2023 when it ranked in ninth place. The town has a median household income of $206,827 and a median home value of $655,700.
