King of Prussia-based SeventySix Capital Adds Another Managing Partner

King of Prussia-based SeventySix Capital has recently added Chad Stender as a new managing partner who will be leading the company next to founder Wayne Kimmel, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Stender, who founded SeventySix Capital’s Sports Advisory agency, has been with the company for over ten years and he previously held the role of managing director. Before joining SeventySix Capital in 2012, he worked for Comcast Spectacor and the Philadelphia Flyers.

Both Kimmel and Stender will hold the title of the managing partner and run SeventySix Capital together.

When Kimmel founded the company in 1999. The firm currently has a portfolio of 23 companies, three of them with exits.

Both men believe that the sports tech world has reached a turning point as technology is now pushing new ways to view, bet, play, and coach sports.

“This is an inflection point for us at SeventySix Capital as we have established ourselves as the go-to investors for startup entrepreneurs in the sports industry,” said Stender.

“We will continue to grow our business based on the incredibly lucrative convergence of sports, media, entertainment, and technology.”
