Immaculata University will hold an information session on Saturday, Mar. 2 for college graduates interested in earning a second bachelor’s degree in nursing. The session will be held from 10 AM to noon in Loyola Hall on Immaculata’s campus in Malvern.

Nursing faculty members will present information about the program, and attendees will have opportunities to talk with admissions staff and tour the nursing simulation labs.

Immaculata’s accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a full-time program for students with a bachelor’s degree in another discipline. Tuition for this program is $540 per credit, which is significantly more affordable than most other programs in the area.

The program enables students to earn a B.S.N. in as few as 15 months and take the licensure exam for registered nurses (NCLEX). Immaculata’s nursing students achieved a remarkable 97.92 percent first-time NCLEX pass rate in the 2022-23 academic year, the most recent year for which data is available. The national NCLEX pass rate for 2022-23 is 90.16 percent.

Immaculata’s nursing students have exceeded the national average NCLEX pass rate since 2017 and have also achieved high employment rates. At least 94 percent of Immaculata’s 2023 nursing graduates have jobs.
