Recreation Centers Throughout Bucks County Looking for Summer Workers

Recreation centers throughout Bucks County have already started hiring for positions for their summer programs.

Recreation centers throughout Bucks County have already started hiring for summer positions while others have opened enrollments for their summer camp programs, writes Damon C. Williams for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Bensalem Township’s Parks and Recreation Department is accepting employment applications for the 2024 summer recreation programs. Bensalem residents aged 16 and older are to apply for these jobs.

The Bucks County Parks and Recreation Department is also looking for boat rental managers, cashiers, lifeguards, and other positions. The administration will hold a Summer Employment Virtual Q&A on February 27 to provide more information.

The Northampton Township Recreation Department is accepting applications for summer camp counselors and a full-time operations manager. The minimum age is 16.

In addition, Northampton is accepting high school applicants into the Counselor in Training program, while the Northampton Swim Club is hiring for summer custodial, front desk, and lifeguard positions.

Meanwhile, Camp Neshaminy in Hulmeville has opened enrollment for its summer camp program.

Among the upcoming events, the Newtown Township Parks and Recreation Department and Newtown Fire Rescue will hold the first annual Junior Fire Camp in July and August.
