An important fixture in the Elkins Park community for more than 80 years is being sold in its entirety in an auction, writes Ryan Genova for Glenside Local.

Biello Auto Parts at 7875 Mill Road in Elkins Park first opened its doors in 1937 and now will be sold in a live commercial auction on Saturday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m.

The whole business is being sold, including the property, business name, and website. The sale will also include the company’s current parts and vehicle inventory.

Biello Auto Parts property consists of an office building, multiple small warehouses, and excess land for auto salvage business on 0.89+ acres.

The auction will be hosted by Ken Geyer Estate Auctioneers, Inc. Auction terms are 6% buyers’ premium, and 15% deposit due on Auction Day with settlement in 45 days.

For those interested in buying Biello Auto Parts, there will be a property preview and inspection held on Wednesday, March 6 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
