This summer, Arnold’s Entertainment Center will debut a brand-new summer day camp to serve families in the Oaks, Phoenixville, King of Prussia, Norristown, Collegeville, and Royersford areas. Located at the intersection of Phoenixville, Methacton, and Norristown School Districts, Arnold’s Camp Awesome has planned a summer camp that boasts an all-you-can-play buffet of activities.

The camp’s activities include go-karts, laser tag, bowling, rock climbing, a ropes course, arcade games, a museum visit, and more. Arnold’s Camp Awesome will operate for five weeks this summer with limited availability for its first year. Early bird registration, including a special discount, is now open until Mar. 20. Interested guardians are encouraged to register as soon as possible to ensure availability.

Campers entering Kindergarten through entering eighth grade are welcomed to spend the entire week experiencing activities that expand interests, grow confidence, and develop physical, mental, and social skills. Each week will also include excursions to the Oaks Center Cinema and the American Treasure Tour Museum.

“We are always looking for ways to serve the community,” said COO Gerald Frey. “Many of us in the Arnold’s family are parents of young children, and we see a need for this kind of program in the area. Many working parents struggle with childcare in the summertime. With this camp, they can feel good about treating their children to a special experience when they must be apart.”

Arnold’s Entertainment Center has been providing entertainment to the greater Philadelphia region for more than 40 years. It has undergone significant expansion since 2008, when the management opened the American Treasure Tour Museum, a quirky pop-culture museum with a tram ride. The venue’s most recent venture has been opening its independent theater, dubbed Oaks Center Cinema.
