If you have always wanted to learn how to make your own sourdough bread, now is a great time to sign up for a class at Vituperio Bread Baking Studio in Lansdale.

The knowledgeable instructors will unveil the ancient method of fermentation and baking, and teach the basics of how to create a sourdough starter.

You will also learn how to use the starter to make a variety of baked goods.

The studio is located at 1820 West Point Pike in Lansdale.

Other fun local food shops included a workshop on making pierogi by Mom-Mom’s Kitchen Pierogi-al School held at the Frankford Arsenal Building 39 in Northeast Philadelphia and a Cheese Basics Class at the Philly Cheese School held in classroom space in Philadelphia’s Italian Market.
