Cardinal O’Hara posted a narrow 42-37 win over Germantown Academy in Pennsylvania girls basketball on Dec. 29.

Neither team dominated early as the two squads struggled evenly to a 10-10 tie through the first quarter.

The Lions’ offense jumped in front for a 19-18 lead over the Patriots at the half.

Cardinal O’Hara jumped to a 28-26 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The Lions got the better of the final-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with a 14-11 edge.

In recent action on Dec. 17, Germantown Academy faced off against Pennsbury.
