Vertex, a global provider of tax technology solutions headquartered in King of Prussia, is partnering with Shopify to streamline global tax compliance.

Shopify is a provider of internet infrastructure for commerce.

Through the partnership, users of the Shopify Tax Platform for business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales will be able to automate tax calculation and compliance on a global scale.

This will eliminate the need for manually updating the rates and rules, including seller’s use tax and goods and services tax for over 195 countries.
