There are several exciting dining updates currently happening in Montgomery County, including at Spring Mill Café and the King of Prussia Mall, writes Ed Williams for the Main Line Today.

Spring Mill Café in Conshohocken, the winner of the Perennial Best of the Main Line & Western Suburbs award, is celebrating its 45th anniversary.

The popular French BYOB started serving lunch to just five tables in 1978 in the back room of its current location.

The historic property features both the original Spring Mill general store and the lovely, converted farmhouse.

After the cafe took over the former antique store in the front, it expanded its offerings to include dinner five days a week. It has been thriving ever since.

Meanwhile, Italian marketplace and cooking school chain Eataly which currently operates nearly 50 stores in 16 countries is coming to King of Prussia. Eataly is planning to open a food hall along with a full-scale restaurant as well as other add-ons at King of Prussia Mall in 2025.

The dining scene is hot in other parts of the region as well. Unionville is getting a new café and artisanal market called Farmer & Co.

Another debut is the opening of Cider Belly in Chestnut Hill.
