Super start fuels Spring-Ford’s victory over North Penn

Spring-Ford broke on top and refused to fold in holding off North Penn 42-35 in a Pennsylvania high school football matchup on Nov. 3.

Spring-Ford opened with a 14-0 advantage over North Penn through the first quarter.

The second quarter began with neither team in charge at a 21-21 deadlock.

Nothing was decided in the third quarter, with Spring-Ford and North Penn locked in a 28-28 stalemate.

The Rams got the better of the fourth-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with a 14-7 edge.

In recent action on Oct. 20, North Penn faced off against Pennridge.
