Colors of Glass in Audubon is the place to find an ideal gift for any occasion by either choosing one of the existing gorgeous stained-glass pieces or having a custom one made just for you, reports Bob Kelly for FOX 29 Philadelphia.
And if you are looking for a great date-night activity or a fun way to spend a few hours with your friends, you can take a class and learn how to make stained glass yourself.
“As a beginner, somebody who’s never done stained glass before,” said John Walker, owner of Colors of Glass, “they come in and they select a pattern. They have a choice of seven different patterns to select from.”
Once armed with a pattern, the stained glass making can commence. Depending on your experience, you can take a beginner’s class or a more advanced private class.
Walker added that there are few limitations to what can be made with stained glass, be it through a mosaic or by superimposing a picture on the glass.
