Phillies fans are always finding new ways to express their support for the team.

Drexel Hill artist Sean Carey paints lawns.

In honor of Red October, Carey has been creating Phillies lawn art on his lawn, and on the lawns of others, complete with the Phillies logo, the Liberty Bell, baseballs, and more, reports Alicia Robers for CBS News Philadelphia.

Carey is a lifelong fan, but painting lawns that’s a new thing.

It started a few days ago when a friend asked him to do something at their house. Since then, his phone has been ringing off the hook with more requests for Phillies lawn art.

He’s done about a dozen already.

“I’m enjoying it. Every time I’m doing it, I’m enjoying it,” he said.

The best part is seeing everyone’s reactions.

“Big smiles. Kids walking by love it. Parents walking by love it. Colleagues, friends, family all reaching out,” he said.

Carey will continue painting as long as the Phils are fighting all the way through the World Series.

“It’s a good feeling. We’re going to hope that feeling keeps on going,” he said. “You only get one shot at it.
