‘Please Don’t Expect This from All Officers’: Montco Officer Makes Special Delivery

By

It is not every day that a Montgomery County police officer gets asked to transport a large snake, but when the call came in, one Limerick Township police officer was up for the task, writes 6ABC Digital Staff.

On October 4th, a Limerick resident called asking for assistance removing a large snake found in their garden and transporting it to a nature preserve.

A video shared by the Limerick Township police shows the officer urging the snake from his patrol car. He joked that he didn’t know how it got out of the cuffs.

Not all officers of the law, however, are excited at the thought of having to handle such a slithery creature.

The police department said, “Please don’t expect this from all officers. Sincerely, those of us that don’t like snakes.”
