Pottsgrove sets early tone to dominate Upper Perkiomen

Pottsgrove broke to an early lead and topped Upper Perkiomen 42-21 for a Pennsylvania high school football victory on Oct. 20.

The first quarter gave Pottsgrove a 20-0 lead over Upper Perkiomen.

The Falcons registered a 42-7 advantage at intermission over the Indians.

Each offense authored its Rip Van Winkle imitation, napping through a barren third quarter.

The Falcons maintained the upper hand despite being outscored 14-0 in the final quarter.

In recent action on Oct. 6, Pottsgrove faced off against Phoenixville Area and Upper Perkiomen took on Pottstown on Oct. 6 at Upper Perkiomen High School.
