Cheltenham darts past Wissahickon with early burst

Cheltenham scored early and often in a 39-12 win over Wissahickon for a Pennsylvania high school football victory at Wissahickon High on Oct. 27.

Cheltenham opened with a 13-0 advantage over Wissahickon through the first quarter.

The Panthers registered a 32-0 advantage at intermission over the Trojans.

Wissahickon tried to dig out of the hole by climbing within 32-6 in the third quarter.

The Panthers held on with a 7-6 scoring edge in the final quarter.

In recent action on Oct. 13, Wissahickon faced off against William Tennent and Cheltenham took on Upper Moreland on Oct. 13 at Cheltenham High School.
