Two Cheltenham Graduates Win Several Emmy Awards at Mid-Atlantic Regionals

Theron Louis, Cheltenham High School Class of 2011 and Ayanna Clark, Cheltenham High School Class of 2014, both took home Emmy Awards after the 41st annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Awards ceremony of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, writes Ryan Genova for Glenside Local.

Clark, an award-winning NBC10 Philadelphia news producer, won in the Morning Newscast category for her production of “Phillies World Series Run.”

Louis, who is a cinematographer at WHYY-PBS, won awards for a report on “The African American Heritage Museum of Southern, New Jersey,” a lifestyle on piece on “Inclusive Vintage of Philly’s Historic Fabric Row,” and the program “You Oughta Know: Philly Area Museums Educate, Entertain and Inspire.”

The ceremony took place at the Lancaster Marriott on October 14.
