Immaculata University is among the best online colleges in Pennsylvania and offers two of the nation’s top-ranked online master’s degrees, according to new rankings from Forbes Advisor Education. The Forbes team provides unbiased rankings for institutions and degree programs based on data from the National Center for Education Statistics and from the websites of accredited, nonprofit colleges in the U.S.

Forbes named Immaculata one of the 10 best online colleges in Pennsylvania, citing the university’s affordable tuition, flexible classes, high student retention, and high graduation rates. Immaculata’s 10 to one student-to-faculty ratio provides close interaction in small classes, and online students have access to campus support services, such as academic advising and career development. Immaculata offers online bachelor’s degrees in various high-demand fields, including business, cybersecurity, healthcare management, nursing, organizational behavior, emergency planning and management, and more.

Forbes Advisor Education also released national rankings for online master’s degrees in specific disciplines, scoring them based on credibility, affordability, student outcomes, student experience, and the application process. Forbes ranked Immaculata University’s Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Master of Science in Health Care Management among the best graduate programs in their fields.

Immaculata’s M.S. in Clinical Nutrition was recognized as one of the best in the nation for its affordable tuition, high graduation rate, support from faculty advisors, emphasis on cultural competence and accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.

The program prepares students to become professional dietitians through online or hybrid graduate courses and quality supervised practice through in-person, accredited dietetic internships. Students gain an in-depth understanding of nutrient metabolism, medical nutrition therapy, changing nutritional needs throughout the life cycle and culturally sensitive nutrition education and counseling for diverse populations.

Forbes also ranked Immaculata’s M.S. in Health Care Management among the best in the U.S., noting its flexibility, accelerated courses, completion time of less than two years and classes focused on leadership development to ensure quality medical services. The program prepares students for advanced administrative roles in hospitals, nursing homes, medical practices or other health-related organizations.

“Immaculata University is proud to offer convenient online programs and student support services for our distance learners,” said Angela Tekely, vice president for academic affairs and provost at Immaculata University. “We are also pleased to provide high-quality master’s programs in nutrition and health care management, among other fields, and we appreciate the recognition from Forbes.”
