Bala Cynwyd-based BaseCamp Glamping can turn a backyard or a state park camping site into a true glamping paradise for those who want the experience, but not the hustle of setting it up, writes Laura Brzyski for Philadelphia Magazine. 

The company delivers and sets up waterproof bell tents along with beds, linens, pillows, blankets, camping chairs, and much more so that you can truly relax and enjoy the experience. Once the glamping is over, the company will come and collect everything. 

There are also added amenities you can opt for, such as a projector for an outdoor movie night, a cornhole set, and a telescope, among many other options. 

The company was started by a couple, Brooke Pegula and Chris Roche, who are camping enthusiasts themselves. 

Their goal was to introduce “as many people in the Philly area to spending time in the outdoors or doing something fun in their own backyard” in a hassle-free way, said Pegula. 

“People want to go camping and experience the outdoors, but figuring out where to go and buying all the gear can be overwhelming,” she added.
