Break out your pom-poms–Montgomery County Community College and the Mustangs Athletics Department are announcing the formation of a new non-competitive cheerleading team coming this fall.
The all-gender team will provide lots of Mustang spirit to the sidelines of varsity athletic games and during community-based events.
“It will really add to school spirit,” said Kelly Dunbar, Director of Athletics and Campus Recreation. “Our cheerleading team will be involved with a lot of campus-wide and community events and help support the varsity teams.”
The cheerleading season will be year-round for registered students. Tryouts for all interested students are set to begin in late August.
