Lilly Pulitzer, a fashion brand based in King of Prussia, is opening its second store in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area this month, writes Catherine Muccigrosso for the Charlotte Observer.

The new store will be located at the mixed-use Birkdale Village development in Huntersville. Lilly Pulitzer’s first store in the area opened in 2012 at SouthPark Mall.

Philadelphia-based Anthropologie is also opening a new store in the Birkdale Village shopping complex in September. This will be Anthropologie’s third Charlotte-area store.

The 250,000-square-foot retail center has been quickly adding national and regional retail stores to its ranks. Last month, The Cheesecake Factory, Southern Tide, and Monkee’s women’s apparel store set up shop there.

Birkdale Village also includes an outdoor stage, greenspace, and retail kiosks.
