Pottsgrove comes from behind to stop Pottstown

Pottsgrove dug itself out of a first-quarter hole and pulled away a 35-14 win over Pottstown in a Pennsylvania high school football matchup on Sept. 22.

The start wasn’t the problem for Pottstown, as it began with an 8-0 edge over Pottsgrove through the end of the first quarter.

The Falcons kept a 15-8 intermission margin at the Trojans’ expense.

Pottsgrove roared to a 29-8 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The Falcons and the Trojans each scored in the fourth quarter.

In recent action on Sept. 11, Pottstown faced off against Harriton and Pottsgrove took on Norristown Area on Sept. 8 at Pottsgrove High School.
