Defense dominated as Pope John Paul II pitched a 35-0 shutout of Berks Catholic in a Pennsylvania high school football matchup on Sept. 8.

The first quarter gave Pope John Paul II a 21-0 lead over Berks Catholic.

Offense was nothing but a rumor in the second and third quarters, as neither squad scored.

The Golden Panthers held on with a 14-0 scoring edge in the fourth quarter.
