Pennridge allows no points against Abington

Pennridge’s defense throttled Abington, resulting in a 28-0 shutout on Sept. 14 in Pennsylvania football action.

Pennridge opened with a 13-0 advantage over Abington through the first quarter.

The Rams’ offense breathed fire in front for a 22-0 lead over the Galloping Ghosts at the intermission.

Offense was nothing but a rumor in the third quarter, as neither squad scored.

The Rams got the better of the fourth-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with a 6-0 edge.

In recent action on Sept. 1, Pennridge faced off against Souderton and Abington took on Council Rock North on Sept. 1 at Abington High School.
