The company offers its AI-based gun detection video analytics to schools, places of worship, government buildings and businesses to bolster their security systems.

ZeroEyes, which is based in Conshohocken, has had an amazing year with about 360% growth so far, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

And now the company has raised $23 million to support even more growth. ZeroEyes has plans to add to staff, and increase its footprint.

The company offers its AI-based gun detection video analytics to schools, places of worship, government buildings and businesses to bolster their security systems. The software is layered over existing digital security cameras, so that if a gun is illegally brandished, the operation center can immediately verify the threat and notify local staff and law enforcement.

The fundraising round was led by Octave Ventures, Alliance Holdings, and existing investors. ZeroEyes’ CEO Mike Lahiff, a former Navy Seal, said that the company hopes to add 20 to 30 more employees by the end of the year and increase the footprint of its operations center at the Spring Mill Corporate Center by 6,000 square feet.
