Operations Specialist — Norristown

This position will use and maintain relational databases and other reporting tools to compile, calculate, track, report, and clean up data. Other duties include analyzing reports and/or preparing variances related to department work processes which may include business systems, regulatory requirements, budgets, or capital expenditures. This position will also monitor and maintain inventory control and inventory records.

The ideal candidate should have five years of overall work experience and thorough knowledge of standard business practices and accounting. Candidates should know how use payroll systems such as JD Edwards, have knowledge of water utility industry, AutoCAD and Orcom, and have strong communication skills.

Floating Water Plant Operator — Yardley/Norristown

This position will operate and control electric motors, pumps, valves, and filters to regulate flow of water through the plant, administer specified amount of chemicals, and monitor mixers, vacuum pumps, sludge blanket levels, and more to clarify water. Other duties include monitoring SCADA to remotely adjust and control pumps, motors, and chemical feed equipment and collecting and testing water samples.

The ideal candidate should have a Water Works Operator certificate and be able to meet physical demands of the occupation. Candidates should be prepared to work crawl, stoop, and lift up to 100 lbs.Candidates should learn the functioning of the overall system, make decisions to ensure proper compliance and system operating, and be able to direct the work of others.
