Montgomery County Community College is seeking applicants for a Coordinator position. The coordinator will work on behalf of the High School Programs and Educational Partnerships program.

The selected applicant will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing strategies and activities to increase enrollment and attract new students.

This position entails the following responsibilities and tasks:

  • Participating in recruitment initiatives and outreach for the High School Programs.
  • Making information available through visits and presentations.
  • Working collaboratively with college faculty, staff, and current students to attract new students and promote the college.


This position works primarily out of the Pottstown campus, but with responsibilities at both the Blue Bell and Pottstown campuses.

This position requires the PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, and FBI Fingerprinting clearances prior to the start date.

Ability to travel, work nights and weekend as needed.

The selected applicant should have the following educational, professional experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience and proven success in a consultative sales position in a higher
    education setting preferred.
  • Ability to travel, work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity.
  • Evidence of strong presentation, written, verbal skills and interpersonal communication
    skills.
  • Understanding of the college mission/philosophy, practice and population.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with administrative computer hardware and software.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to creatively problem solve.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The following criteria of expertise is also expected in applicants:

  • Demonstrated success in making higher educational opportunities accessible to
    underrepresented and non-traditional students.
  • Relationship building and community outreach.
  • Event management, planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Constituent Relationship Management tools to support student success.
