Don’t Miss the Last ‘Creek Critters’ at Green Lane Park for the Summer

Bring the family to the last “Creek Critters” event for the summer at Green Lane Park on Saturday, August 26 at 1 p.m.

The program is free and suitable for all ages. You will get a chance to explore all the creatures in Perkiomen Creek using nets, pans, and magnifying bug boxes. Be sure to wear shorts and water shoes or old sneakers. Meet at the Fly-fishing area of Green Lane Park, 1023 Church Road, East Greenville.

Green Lane Park is the largest county park in Montgomery County at about 3,400 acres. In the park, you can enjoy a variety of landscapes including rolling hills, forested uplands, open meadows, wetland and three bodies of water.

The park is a collaborative effort of Montgomery County and the Philadelphia Suburban Water Company over 40 years ago. The planning for Green Lane Reservoir started in 1929.

Pre-registration is required. Read more at Green Lane Park.
