A new restaurant may be opening soon at 411 Doylestown Road in Montgomeryville at the former site of Outback Steakhouse, writes Hannah Nguyen for North Penn Now.

Montgomery Township officials said that the new tenant will be a Mexican seafood restaurant, but it is unclear whether it is affiliated with a chain or a new business.

At a recent public meeting, officials said that Boca Del Mar had registered with the Pennsylvania Department of State as a corporation with a business office in Collegeville and a location at 411 Doylestown Road.

An opening date has not been set yet for the new restaurant. The site has been vacant since August 2021 after the Outback Steakhouse moved to the Montgomery Mall location.

Right now, there are no web sites or social media pages associated with the restaurant.
