Eight Montco School Districts Are Among State Top School Districts

Lower Merion School District ranks No. 3 among the top school districts in Pennsylvania, writes Ethan Lott for the Pittsburgh Business Times.
Lower Merion jumped up from the No. 5 spot last year. Seven other Montgomery County school districts earned spots in the Top 50 as well.
The new report is based on state standardized test scores. This year’s ranking came from the most recent three years of available PSSA and Keystone Exams results. This is the 18th year the Pittsburgh Business Times has released its annual school rankings.
The other seven Montgomery County School Districts that made the Top 50 include:
- Wissahickon School District at No. 15
- Upper Dublin School District at No. 16
- Springfield School District at No. 25
- Spring-Ford Area School District at No. 28
- Colonial School District at No. 34
- Lower Moreland Township School District at No. 41
- Perkiomen Valley School District at No. 48
