Two Montgomery County Startups Secure Millions in Roundup Funding

Two Montgomery County startups secured millions of dollars in a roundup of fundraising. Ambler-based Nexteon Technologies is an aviation tech firm that raised $4.79 million from 30 investors, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.  

The company, which was launched in 2017 develops technology for aviation, including the SmartRoutes product which optimizes routes for airlines. It was founded by people who have experience on Wall Street, at NASA, in the communications, and aerospace engineering industries.  

Bala Cynwyd beauty tech company Love My Delta also raised $3.1 million from 24 investors, according to SEC filings. The company, founded by plastic surgeon James Smartt created the app Jackie, to track progress following cosmetic and aesthetic procedures.
