Your Guide to 4th of July Fireworks in Montgomery County

Fireworks, parades, and festivals — the 4th of July is the perfect time to celebrate Independence Day with friends and family, writes Justin Heinze for Patch.

Across the Philadelphia region, there will be plenty of celebrations going on, including here in Montgomery County.

Here is a sampling of things to do in Montgomery County for the 4th of July.

Norristown

A parade starting at 10 a.m. will kick off the day’s festivities in Norristown. Fireworks start at 10 p.m.

Lower Providence

The All-American Fireworks Celebration will start at 7 p.m. at Eagleville Park in Lower Providence.

Conshohocken

In Conshohocken, the fireworks display is scheduled for Monday, July 3, at 9:30 p.m.

Ambler

Ambler’s annual Kiwanis Carnival is being held this year from July 4 through July 7. The fireworks on Friday, July 7 at 9 p.m. will be the culmination of the celebration.

Skippack

Skippack has a full schedule of fun planned for the big day. Between the parade, BBQ party at Parc Bistro and the fireworks, there will be something for everyone. The fireworks will go off at Palmer Park near Skippack Elementary School at 10 p.m.
