For anyone seeking a unique addition to their school or community playground, check out the Crab Trap, available through General Recreation in Newtown Square.

This piece of playground equipment can handle up to 65 kids at once, providing a variety of ways to climb, crawl and hang out.

Kids can attack the Crab Trap from inside or out. They decide how to maneuver from one challenge to the next, for unstructured play experiences that encourage creativity and critical decision-making.

A variety of aesthetically pleasing materials provide visual and tactile interest as well as novel climbing adventures, including a patent-pending braided belt.

The Crab Trap offers climbing fun for children ages 5 to 12.

The Crab Trap provides a complete climbing experience while meeting ADA accessibility requirements. It is IPEMA certified to meet ASTM and CSA and TUV certified to meet EN standards.
