Montgomery County Community College is looking for a candidate to fill the role of the Part-Time Career Coach position. The Part-Time Career Coach assists students and alumni with identifying career goals, developing leadership skills, and planning
career moves as well as fostering strong and mutually rewarding partnerships with industry, training, and community partners.

This position is part-time. The selected applicant must be available to work day, evening, and weekend hours, including off-site locations. This position will be based out of the Blue Bell Campus.

The ideal applicant should have the following credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Education, Human Resources, Psychology or other related field with one-year previous career or employment work experience, master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven technology skills, including using technology in program delivery, MS Office Suite, social media, client management systems.
  • Organizational, presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to work with diverse populations, such as under-resourced groups and first-generation students.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a comprehensive community college philosophy.
